Tough meekness, the second beatitude

When I think of the meek, I can only remember some names:
St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, Ghandi, Mother Teresa of Calcutta and here in Miami, Monsignor Agustín Román.
Meek and humble of heart, quiet, never violent, never screaming or imposing on anyone.
But do not confuse the word "meek" with being a pushover, because all of them shared something in common with Jesus, and this was their firmness, endurance, fortitude and will.
If God wants to tame me, make me gentle as they were gentle, and firm as they were firm.
