SHARING AS A FAMILY WAS THE GOAL OF THE DINNER HELD BY THE SCHOENSTATT MOVEMENT OF SOUTH FLORIDA

SUCCESSFUL SATURDAY DINNER HELD BY THE SCHOENSTATT MOVEMENT OF SOUTH FLORIDA WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF NUMEROUS MEMBERS

By Gustavo Mendez and Belsay Hennig.
Radio Alianza de Amor
The radio program of the Mater of Schoenstatt  in South Florida.

SHARING AS A  FAMILY

That was the theme of V Dinner for the Schoenstatt Shrine which took place on  September 29 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Kendall. The family of South Florida met for a fundraiser and then to pay homage in a celebration for Our Mother.

But if it was a meeting and fundraising dinner, where was the tribute to the Virgin?
That question is easy to answer. A Mother gets excited when we flatter and entertain her children who have worked all year to build and care for her home. When we got together to celebrate and have fun, the Virgin was there with us smiling with joy.

Maybe you did not notice it, but I saw her dancing with Alvaro and Gabi, with Robert and Paulina Velez, Freddy and Nancy, and with Marcelo. And I saw her eating with the Marian sisters, with Aida, and with me. Because She was in every one of us.

Whatever the amount raised, I'm sure of one thing, the Mater is happy and looking forward to next year as much as this one, for another party as nice and wonderful as this one.
